Volunteer Spotlight

Each quarter, United Way of Southern Kentucky recognizes one individual volunteer who has gone above and beyond to support the efforts of United Way and thus our community.

For Q3 2017, United Way of Southern Kentucky would like to recognize Natalie Tracy of Fruit of the Loom as the Volunteer of the Quarter. Natalie volunteers endless hours throughout the year by serving on the United Way Volunteer Committee; and by coordinating all of United Way and Fruit of the Loom's partnership efforts including Feed the Need (with collection of donations at a home Hot Rods game), Day of Caring, the WKU LIVE UNITED White Out, campaign efforts, internal company communications, in-kind donations (t-shirts for local use as well as a large donation for hurricane relief efforts), Dolly Parton Imagination Library donations and enrollments, and much more!

Upon being presented with this award, Natalie said, "I truly enjoy the partnership and involvement with United Way. The recognition is certainly not the reason to volunteer, but it was such a sweet surprise. I appreciate the work United Way of Southern Kentucky is doing to support the local community through education, income, health and safety net. The work being done in those areas  makes it easy to want to continue getting involved year over year."

Please join us in honoring Natalie Tracy for her volunteer efforts not just in Q3 2017, but throughout the year! We are truly grateful for such an enthusiastic, hard working, committed volunteer!
