EYECONIC.TV partners with UNITED WAY to promote 2-1-1 services
2-1-1 information and referral services spotlighted in promotional message at payday lending locations across seven states
Louisville, Ky. (November 4, 2016) – Individuals and families who use payday lending services in fifty locations across seven states are seeing a message of help and hope, thanks to United Way 2-1-1, Eyeconic.TV and their Digital Screen Technology program.
United Way 2-1-1 information and referral services are getting a promotional boost through targeted ads on a “digital signage program” at Cash Advance Network locations in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee.
The program kicked off on September 30, 2016 with a 15-second spot across fifty current locations, valued at $5,000 for each month of promotion. The message, available to view online at http://www.eyeconic.tv/philanthropy/, highlights available health and human service referral information commonly requested through 2-1-1 contact centers, such as utility assistance, shelter, senior services, job training, food, disaster relief, counseling and child care. The spot repeats in a 24-ad rotation throughout each business day.
“By promoting 2-1-1 at these locations, Eyeconic is helping United Way reach a population that, in many cases, needs additional assistance to reach self-sufficiency,” said Kevin Middleton, President for United Way of Kentucky. “By going online or dialing 2-1-1, families are provided with a fast, confidential referral to local non-profit, health and human service agencies. United Way’s 2-1-1 specialists are trained to provide the help families need, when they need it.”
The promotional ad will continue into 2017, when the partnership agreement could potentially expand from fifty screens to more than 1,100 nationwide.
