About the United Way of Southern Kentucky
The United Way of Southern Kentucky is a local, non-profit
volunteer driven organization, which works to support health and human
services in Southern Kentucky. It is governed by a local, volunteer
board of directors and supported by a small,
professional staff.
Caring for people in southern Kentucky since 1956, the United Way of
Southern Kentucky is continuing its mission "to be the leader in bringing
together the resources to build a stronger, more caring community". |

Together, we can nurture more children and youth; we can strengthen more
families; support older people; continue to promote health and healing; and
increase self-sufficiency.
These are the solutions that will improve lives - these are the results
that matter!In 2005, more than 40,000 services were provided to
people in the BRADD region by United Way funded programs. With your help,
this year the United Way of Southern Kentucky will fund 51 programs
in 10 counties -- improving the lives of thousands of
residents! |
