Campaign Committees

Email dmoran@uwsk.org for more information.

The responsibility of this committee is to generate revenue to meet the critical and serious issues impacting our region. There are training meetings to ensure that each volunteer has the skills necessary to be successful.

Areas to help:

1) New Business Development: Team helps to establish meetings with top decision makers within companies and organizations to get them to begin to make a corporate gift and conduct employee campaigns. This is a critical component.

2) Campaign Volunteer: Communicate and support company representatives who have a history of supporting United Way. Volunteers deliver campaign supplies and work to ensure the company receives the service they need to be successful.

3) Speakers Bureau: Speak to groups and employees to outline the many successes of United Way. A volunteer's role is to share with them how they can participate by making a donation to United Way through either payroll deduction, credit card or cash gift.

4) Account Executive: An Account Executive is the United Way representative inside your company that helps to ensure that everyone hears the message about United Way and has the opportunity to make a donation to United Way.  It is not the role of the Account Executive to get everyone to give....the role is to educate your team members about United Way so they can make an informed decision about donating and to know how to get help for themselves or their family and friends.

5) Back office support: Volunteers can help to pack campaign supplies. Volunteers place supplies into bags of specific quantity to equal the number of employees and needs of the campaign.  June / July / August time frame.
